“Stitching Through the Seasons” by Yumiko Higuchi

Embroidery Concept Store is an avowed fan of Japanese designer Yumiko Higuchi. Her patterns are so enchanting and unexpected that they make us sigh with every turn of the page. This work pays homage to each of the months of the year. Each month has the opportunity to be king or queen (literally) and show off its best: flora and fauna, human figurines and everyday objects, minimalist patterns and complex flower crowns – the designs are as different as the months.
